Deutscher Telegraphie-Contest (DTC) / German Telegraphy Contest

Participants:

All licenced amateurs and SWL's; at least one of the QSO partners must be located in Germany.

Bands:

Mode:

Only CW (A1A)! The same station may be worked only once per band. The use of keyboards and automatic CW decoders is against the contest rules. Each entry must contain a declaration that all contest rules have been observed.

Categories:

  1. less than 5 watts output (QRP)
  2. between 5 and 125 watts output
  3. SWL

Exchange:

RST and LDK (LDK is the registration number for the county – "Landkreis" – or the autonomous city – "kreisfreie Stadt" – where the station is currently located.) Example: 579HOL for participants in the county of Holzminden. Stations outside Germany send only RST.

Logs:

The log must show the complete exchanges sent and received. For electronic log please use STF-, CBR- or TXT-format only. Entrants in category 1 (QRP-Class) please tell us about your rig. Entrants using original QRP-rigs will be marked with "*" in the result-list.

Logs without a summary will be automatically used as checklogs.

The winner of each class will receive a beautiful cup. A coloured A4 certificate showing his placement and total score will be issued to the best ten participants of each class. If you are not amongst them and wish to obtain this certificate also please let the manager know. Return postage of 1,55 Euro / 2 IRCs is therefore mandatory.

The counties ("Landkreise") and autonomous cities ("kreisfreie Städte") (LDK) eligible for this contest may be taken from the list "Landkreisaufstellung für das CWD" included in the "RTC Book". To receive this book please send 2,50 Euro in stamps and an SAL (sticker with your own address) to
