VHF-UHF Contest

CAUTION: NEW TIME SCHEDULE FROM 2010 ON!!!

1400 - 1659 UTC 144,025 - 144,150MHz
1700 - 1759 UTC 432,025 - 432,150MHz

PARTICIPANTS:

All licensed amateurs, single OP only. Club station entries are only valid if the station was operated by the same amateur at all times and if this is confirmed by the operator's signature on the cover sheet of the log. In this case the operator is not permitted to use his personal callsign at any time during the contest (i.e. the call of the club station must be used)..

CALL:

CQ AGCW TEST

CATEGORIES:

A = up to 5 Watt out
B = 5 to 50 Watt out
C = more than 50 Watt out
It is not permitted to change category or location during the contest!

EXCHANGE:

RST and QSO-Number/Category/Grid Locator. Example: 579001/A/JO31XX. It is mandatory to send the slashes. You have to use the World Wide Maidenhead locator.

SCORING:

QRB points (i.e. 1 point per distance kilometer). Final score: Sum of QRB points. Incomplete QSOs have to appear in the log but no points must be claimed. Separate logs are necessary for each band.

LOGS:

<>The logs have to contain following columns: UTC, Call, exchange sent, exchange received, Locator, QRB points, remarks. Further information to be shown on the log cover sheet: Call sign, address, own Maidenhead Locator, own class, rig used including output power, summary (sum of QRB-points, worked DXCC, WW-locoators and ODX), operator's signature.

Send SASE or SAE plus one IRC to receive a list of the results (Be sure to add your complete postal address). The results will also be posted to the AGCW board of the Packet Radio BBS network and to the AGCW home page. Additionally, they will be published in 'AGCW-Info'.
There are awards for the first, second and third place in each class and placement cards for each entrant.

Deadline: 3rd Monday after the contest weekend.
