The EUCW is an organization that hosts European CW CLUBS. It's meant to be an exchange forum.

The objective of EUCW is to form an association of independent European amateur radio CW clubs. Using the Association as a platform, member-clubs may exchange ideas and information, arrange various activities involving mutual participation, and generally co-operate for the benefit of amateur radio CW operation.

Each European member-club is represented within the Association by an appointed "EUCW Communications Manager" (ECM). These pages are maintained by the ECM of AGCW.

The Activity Group CW DL (short name AGCW) is one of the major CW clubs in Germany.
The main objective of AGCW is to encourage and support Morse telegraphy within amateur radio. Our club was founded in 1971 and counts 2000 members mostly from Germany but also from many other countries in the world.
We take care of newcomers and desire to lead them to the oldest and probably most beautiful mode of ham radio. We help them to overcome the "threshold" of inertia (and to pass the code exam) that prevented others to join in.
AGCW organizes CW Contests and issues CW awards in order to encourage CW on the bands. We publish a printed journal "AGCW-Info" (in German) twice a year with infos on our club, contest results, and other interesting contributions.
We do also transmit QTCs on the air in CW, via Packet Radio, in the newsgroup de.comm.ham, and on this Web page.

The official language of EUCW is English but a part of these EUCW pages at AGCW are kept in German only, primarily the archive of the EUCW Reports published in our printed journal.
